Oh, you guys

Hello guys!! Well, I had my American Literature final yesterday, and I think it went okay. I just had to write a bunch of essays about how nature and religion affect literature. I would've been better at writing about food affecting literature, but that would make finals easy... and why would teachers want to make ANYTHING easy on you? haha But instead of a recipe, I thought I'd post about a blog award I just received from my friend, Michelle. Her blog is called Chocolate and Marmalade, and she's always making the cutest things- crafts and food. She also loves cats, and I can't name one blogger on here that doesn't have a cat obsession... cough Bethany cough. haha

"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

Okay, let me just say that I'm happy it translates what the award is. I took 8 years of Spanish in school so I had an idea of what it said, but a part of me thougt it was French, too. Oh geez. So now I have to pass this onto 8 bloggers who exemplify this award. I think every blogger I've talked to is friedly, charismatic, and down-right sexy hehe but honestly, if you're name isn't in my 8 picks, I still love you and stalk your blog ALL the time!! Here you go guys and thanks, Michelle- you rock!!

1. Agnes
2. Becca
3. Bethany
4. Jessy
5. Gina
6. Jenn
7. River
8. Juliet

LOL! That looks just like portuguese! I believe that IS portuguese, unless Spanish looks PRECISELY like portuguese, how ironic!
Thanks for choosing me!

Becca, in one of my classes last year we were given a passage in another language (to show how english language learners feel), and everyone thought it was Spanish, but then the Spanish teachers realized it wasn't, etc etc. Anyway it turns out it was Portuguese, haha.

Anyway, Joanna! Thank you so much, you are so sweet! You totally deserve the award and I thank you very much for passing it on to me :) I will post it a little later, I am so excited!

P.S. I'm glad you translated because I took French, haha

Thanks so much for the award :). I think it's the cousin of the butterfly award because there is a butterfly on it. I will honor more bloggers the next time I post.

I think by saying you'd like to write an essay on food's affect on literature, you really meant the effects of muffins on literature. let's face it, your fuel = muffins. Yeah, I give you credit about posting other food, but I know it's a cover up...

I got Andy so cranky w/ me for putting the stickers on that monitor. though I think I told him that it was MY monitor and it was tough. He was really mad when I covered his monitor years ago when we first started dating w/ stickers and planets. Pretty much that's where the stickers stop.

Don't feel stupid! I just found it ironic, because i grew up speaking Portuguese and English! haha
I usually cat nap during the day if I haven't had my coffee. A little snooze in the car on the way to gym, I a little snooze here.. a little snooze there... any second I can get!

Congrats on your award hunny - you deserve it!
Spanish and Portuguese are very very similar but when you consider that they are right next door to each other it's not surprising really.
