Some RAW Goodness

Good Morning, my friends. I hope most of you are on break for Christmas or another holiday you celebrate. I gotta get my butt to work today because I just could NOT find anybody to take my shift. People are so heartless these days haha I honestly offered to bake people food for a week, and they still said NO. Damn them. They don't know what they're missing!!!

I figured I'd post a few videos of Mitchel and me at work. He quit some time ago, so work hasn't been much fun since he left this hell hole. When we worked together, all we did was goof off. Here's what I mean:

I wish I could go back to those fun times at Sears, but they have been non-existent lately!! Oh well, thank God for Christmas tomorrow- the one day that the store is closed.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you guys how my cleanse is going. I think I'm on day 10 or so (I'm really not sure) and I haven't noticed a difference in bowel movements at all. I hope it starts working eventually because I just want to be cleaned out; however, the amount of water I am drinking has to be lethal haha I go pee about 15 times a day. I don't know what a normal amount is, but my trips to the bathroom have definitely increased.

As for food, I've been eating primarily RAW lately. I made raw ice cream that I saw on GoneRaw. The original recipe was for Chocolate Ice Cream, but I changed up some stuff and made Banana Split Ice Cream. It is outstanding and it's pretty darn healthy.

Here's the recipe:

Banana Split Ice Cream

2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup "milk" (nut milk, or soy milk- doesn't matter)
1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
2 Tbsp agave nectar
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 Tbsp cacao nibs

Directions: Throw the first 5 ingredients into the food processor and blend. Stir in the cacao nibs and then freeze or eat fresh!!

Another random part of today's post is my Marie Antoinette Award from Melody!! Thank you so much. If you haven't been on her blog, she always has cute pictures and fun family stories on it. She's such a good mom!! Her blog says "this award is for people who are deemed 'real' in who they are." That really makes me happy to get that because it's such a meaningful award. I'm supposed to pass this onto 7 people, but I like everyone on here so if you read my blog, you get this award!!!

Goofing off at work is an underrated skill. I can't believe you fit in that cupboard! I hope you jumped out and freaked out some customers.

That ice cream looks divine.

I'm a fan of the cleanse. Keep it up. I think everyone is different, but as long as you're following the directions, you should eventually see results.

That ice cream sounds yummmmmy!

Looks like you guys had some fun at Sears...I've never had fun at a job like that before, but I never worked with any of my friends either. Sad :( Maybe this is why I am not a big fan of working.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas :)

Meh, we basically are looking for the cheapest car we can find!!! haha, we found one that everyone seemed to agree on today though, Its a Picanto... I loved it. But I REALLY loved the huge fluffy ribbon on top of it!! i was laying on top of the hood of the car using the pillow as a bow while they talked, so comfortable!!
And that is so ironic that we had the same breakfast. Except what was that last thing you said? Cacao chips? What's that?

Yeah, add the award as a picture on the side of your blog:]
Hmm I haven't ever seen cacao nibs.. weird.

Joanna, you are totally sweet, I love it.

My Christmas was actually kind of lame, as far as good goes. I haven't been stuffed until today...I made some peanut butter cookies and ate them all. I've been perpetually hungry all week :) My husband did not come home, he won't be here for awhile, although he is leaving Iraq soon-ish.

Btw, millet is really good. I've never used the flour, but its amazing how much that stuff puffs up when it cooks. The casserole started with a layer of it on the bottom and it expanded and grew all around everything. Cool little grain.

Hope you're enjoying the rest of your time off!

work is way better when you have somebody to share the fun with. Otherwise it can just drag on. You have to convince him to go back. ha ha!

that ice cream looks strawberrilicious.
