Little School Girl, Joanna

Hello, guys!! Hope your weekend has been dashing and you've all been misbehavin (but that goes without saying). My first day of school is tomorrow, and I'm as nervous as a clam!!! I can't stop picking at my fingernails- uhhh that's my worst habit. I've always been kind of shy when I go into a room and don't know anyone, so I'm hoping to see a familiar face to take the edge off. I wish one of you (or all of you) went to my school. Can you imagine how much we'd get yelled at for being complete fools?? Oh well, at least we have our good looks...

To ease the nervousness of tomorrow, I watched Bret's Michael's show "Rock of Love Bus." Wow what a train-wreck or tranny-wreck (whichever you prefer). Watching this show always makes me happy... and thankful that I am going to college so I can get a real job. My mom loves this show, too. My sister, she, and I always watch it as a family. I guess you could say that we love trashy television. I'm pretty sure that it's polluting my mind, but when you come to think of it, at least it's keeping me off the streets... and off the show. haha I mean, can you picture me in this line up of ladies??? Okay, don't answer that.

Well, I think I'm gonna read a little Twilight and have some tea. Pray that I don't slip on ice tomorrow when I walk in the building!! I tend to do that. I'll be sure to wear my favorite church shoes ;)

Good luck tomorrow! I'm always super nervous the day before school starts, too (and I'm the teacher)... I never get any sleep!

I can't comment on that particular show, it doesn't air here, but I'm not beyond a trashy tv show from time to time (*cough* I did not just admit that!).

Good luck for tomorrow!

Hahahah, I love Rock of Love too, its my biggest TV guilty pleasure. Although I rarely actually watch it when its on, I tend to catch the marathons and waste an entire day to it. Sad...or awesome...whichever you prefer.

I hope you know some people in your classes!! I remember that feeling all too well.

Oh, and I finished Eclipse this morning. I think that it was my favorite so far? Although, honestly, (and I know true Twilight fans will want to beat me for this), I just REALLY want them to be movies. Not that I don't like reading them, but I got a much more emotional high from the movies than I do from the books.

Have a great day Joanna!

i love people who freely admit that they a) love tv, and b) love trash tv. i don't care if watching the tube rots the brain, as my brain needs a little rotting from time to time. we all have our guilty pleasures. mine is 'survivor', and my spouse and i had a 'simpson's' themed wedding--that's how much we love tv. how adorable that your family watches this show together!

I hope you had a good first day of school. Mine starts in a week and I get just as nervous as you. I have never watched that show, those girls scare me!!

You inspired me!! I made fresh juice from apples and carrots this weekend. I mixed them together and it was the most delicious thing I've tasted! I'm hooked on fresh juice now, look what you've done to me!

My Mom warned me about cleaning the juicer before I started. I had a whole grocery size bag full of pulp. It seemed so wasteful. I made a gallon of juice, do you know how long the juice will be good for or are you supposed to just make what you want to drink at the time? I don't live in the dorm, I'm kind of an 'older' student who decided to go back to school, although the kids at school think I'm just as young as them. Shh, don't tell anyone!

First day of school! YAY! You will dazzle them, I'm certain! :)

I hope you had an amazing day, and that you made tons of friends. Or at least that you didn't fall on your butt in front of everyone, right? :P

mm compared to yoru typical store in the US yes, I guess you can say that we have fresh produce. The BEST place to get them is at this Japenese Market. Which is like a strip mall of just veggies in all one building. Well, not just veggies. Fresh meat cuts, flowers and a bakery. I love going there when we have money because they have the best options. Mom just went there yesterday and brought back a TON of produce for me. Like, mangoes, papaya, celery, lettuce, green peppers, baby tomatoes, corn... and probably another thing or two that i cannot remember. Oh! she brought me backsome grapes, YUMMY. Love love love grapes!

I love to see shows like that on The Soup (on E). The Soup is funny because it rips into TV shows. It also saves me time by not having to watch bad TV because they find the good parts.

don't hate me, but I read twilight and I thought it sucked. all she does is put herself down, throw any sort of ambition out the window for edward and then have these martyr moments where she lives her life like a robot. yeah, i get it, she's obsessed. edward is just a crabby jerk that gets mad really easily. Way to go grrrl power (NOT).
